Rybeena Announces ‘Mr Bee Deluxe’, Renews Dapper Music Deal
Nigerian artist Rybeena has announced he’s putting out Mr Bee Deluxe, an expanded version of his 2025 project, and at the same time he’s signed a new long-term deal with Dapper Music & Entertainment. He put pen to paper on June 15, 2026, at the company’s Lagos offices.
The original Mr Bee came in at number 9 on the best projects of 2025 list and got praise for mixing modern sounds with features from Joeboy, Shoday, and Fuji legend King Dr. Saheed Osupa.
When the deal was signed, Damilola “Dapper” Akinwunmi, Group CEO of Dapper Group, said:
Rybeena has done in two years what takes most artists far longer, and this new deal is us putting real weight behind where he is headed. We are not in the business of managing names, we are in the business of building careers. With everything lined up to drop this year, the proof is about to speak for itself.
Rybeena said:
People talk about what a label is when things get loud. For me it’s simple: Dapper backed me, built with me, and I’m staying to finish what we started. This year is proof. The ‘Mr Bee’ deluxe is just the opening.
